About James Dupree Architect

James Dupree was born and raised in Florida. He received his degrees in architecture from the University of Virginia and was profoundly influenced by his associated studies in Italy. He worked at The Haskell Company, a design-build firm based in Jacksonville, Florida, for nearly 20 years. During that time he designed a broad range of building types and began to design houses on his own. He currently lives in Atlantic Beach where he swims a mile or two in the ocean each morning before he rides his bike to his office in Neptune Beach. Every day, he strives to delight his clients by designing beautiful, practical and environmentally sensitive homes at the beach.
